The Seven Sorrows of Mary rosary chaplet features seven groups of seven black oval wooden beads, each set representing one of the seven sorrows of Our Lady’s life. Crafted in Italy, it uses 8 x 10 mm beads linked by alpaca (German silver) and includes seven detailed medals illustrating each sorrow, along with a larger Virgin Mary medal. This chaplet measures 22 inches in total length and comes with a custom leatherette pouch embossed with a gold Seven Sorrows design, exclusively by Rosary Mart.
The sorrows commemorated are:
1. The prophecy of Simeon. (St. Luke 2:34, 35)
2. The flight into Egypt. (St. Matthew 2:13, 14)
